Probably very good, but the salt that came with it was wet and clogged up the grinder. Pepper side is a bit hinky, too. After I clean it out and refill with DRY stock, maybe it will work better.

I have this grinder for 3 weeks now, and the top has completely snapped off!!! I am soooooo disappointed! I started out really liking it, but after only 3 weeks of minimal use, it breaks! How disappointing!!

I loved this grinder when I got it. It worked like a champ! Everyone grabbed it at dinner time, and I used it often while cooking.
Unfortunately it broke right after I refilled the peppercorn side, only five months after purchase. Something in side the unit bit the dust and there was no fixing it.
bummer, I really liked the simplicity of this grinder. Oh well, off to find a new grinder...and not one of these.
